Celebrate your own style
by Sara Volk
What a person chooses to wear says a lot about them. Are they daring? Reserved? Eccentric? Or do they prefer to just stay comfortable? Do they change things out periodically, keeping things trendy and fresh? Or do they prefer to pick what they like and stick to it?
When it comes to personal style, there is no wrong answer.
When I began work on the "Be Stylish" issue, I was very excited for the lineup that we managed to pull together. Interviews with Victoria Henley, a former America's Next Top Model contestant, and the cover model for the Minnesota Viking's Cheerleader calendar; talking with an amazing local organization for animal rescue, Furry Friends Rockin' Rescue; an article about parenting your own little fashionista -- and so much more.
Be's mission is to provide fresh, new content for our readers that helps enrich their lives and feeds their souls. I feel that there is no better way to do this than by encouraging individuality and creativity in all of our readers, including their wardrobe choices. I encourage you to celebrate not only your own uniqueness, but the uniqueness of others; to explore the unexplored and try new things; to be kind; to be open-minded; and -- most importantly -- to Be Yourself.
